You can escalate, pressure, manipulate, guilt trip, threat, intimidate, interrogate, blame, shame, weaponise, coerce, harass, self victimise, control, triangulate and hurt.
And still I need to give you nothing but peace and love and grace. Like only a mother can.
And what do I gain? While I absorb the harm so she can have calm?
...poor health and poor wealth.
And what do they do about it?
Nothing- because she shares your DNA.
And so it continues, in this house, and in many houses. Because male rights are more important than what's right.
And through it all, love prevails, because there is no force both stronger and gentler than a mother's love.
