From Doodlakine to Perth with mum,
fogged by her cigarette infused perfume
and her sweet love
sitting together on the train
a rare and precious moment
Clickidy-clack clickidy-clack
Clickidy clacks will always bring back memories
when young riding aboard the old tracks
sitting standing walking on the train
stumbling to balance, not fall
feeling safe, mum was near, to catch-me-scold-me,
for loving that clickidy-clack
No more cigarette infused perfume
her sweet love faded away with time and life
no more riding the trains with mum
my love for riding for mum
still lives on board those tracks.
Clickidy-clack clickidy-clack
